2013 Resolutions

This is my first time doing the whole New Years Resolution thing. I’m 25 now, will be 26 next month (notreadynotreadynotready), so perhaps now is as good a time as any to start focusing on good habits; one for each year of life.

  1. Stop being a lazy asshole.
  2. De-clutter.
  3. ASSERTIVENESS. GET SOME.
  4. Become more active in the treatment of depression, etc.
  5. Be tidier or at least less disgusting.
  6. Become a CASA advocate.
  7. Learn to knit.
  8. Start a daily skincare regimen.
  9. Become more technologically inclined.
  10. Go on a long nature hike with the dog at least once a month.
  11. Publish a coloring book.
  12. Stop being a wuss and get a mammogram and pap smear. More on that later.
  13. Reread at least five books that went over my head as a child, no matter how droll and terrible.
  14. Visit heterosexual lifemate in Milwaukee, and in a resolution twofer, get over airplane phobia.
  15. Get more seriously into crafting with resin.
  16. Go to speech therapy for embarrasching Murderfasche-eschque lischp.
  17. Get rid of stupid flab on arms. I AM NOT A FLYING SQUIRREL. THERE IS NO REASON FOR THAT.
  18. Become fluent in French. (Or at least tourist fluent.)
  19. Make and sell a custom aquarium.
  20. Brew some homemade booze, because my brother is great at this and anything he can do I can do better.
  21. Go on a father-daughter trip. Rafting? Trail ride?
  22. Become a diligent blogger, and on that vein,
  23. Finish what I start. Stop abandoning projects like a big fat project abandoner.
  24. Go to an amusement park.
  25. MOVE.

Happy New Year, muffins.
